Oil Spill Closes Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway: Police
Police say the spill is near exit 2 on the expressway.
WANTAGH, NY. — Nassau County police announced that the southbound Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway was closed at exit 2 Friday night due to an oil spill, cutting off the highway between Sunrise Highway and Merrick Road.
Police said motorists could expect delays and advised them to avoid the area. No timeframe was given for when the oil spill would be cleared.
