Overturned Car Closes Part Of Southern State
Two lanes and an exit ramp are closed. Drivers should avoid the area.
An overturned car has closed part of the Southern State Parkway in Hempstead.
According to authorities, the accident occurred at Exit 23 on the the Westbound Southern State, which is the exit for Meadowbrook Road. A car overturned, closing the right and center lanes and the exit ram at Exit 23. It is causing delays back past Exit 22S.
It's unclear if anyone was injured in the crash.
