WANTAGH, NY. — Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman and Nassau County Legislator Kayla Knight were in Wantagh Tuesday as part of Veterans Day celebrations hosted at American Legion Post 1273.

The ceremony included remarks from both elected officials, as well as the playing of Taps by Wantagh High Schooler Brendan O’Callaghan and a performance of Amazing Grace on the bagpipes.

Joining the elected officials in celebration Tuesday were local Boy Scouts and veterans from Wantagh and the surrounding area.
