Seaford Accountant Accused of Cheating Clients

An accountant from Seaford, has been accused of cheating three clients including elderly and disabled victims.
Scott Meyer was arrested six months ago in Suffolk County and pleaded not guilty to grand larceny charges Tuesday, according to prosecutors.
Meyer, a partner at the firm of Johnson and Meyer, allegedly stole $150,000 from an 80-year-old client from Greenport. He's also accused of stealing more than $240,00 from a disabled victim living in California.
Meyer is also charged with stealing about $427,000 from a Huntington-based rural cemetery association.
He was ordered held on $200,000 bond or $100,000 cash bail.
