Seaford Business Looks To Equip Students With 21st-Century Science

SEAFORD, NY — A Seaford business aimed at bringing youngsters cutting-edge ways to face science head on, is having its official ribbon cutting.

X-RobotX, on Hicksville Road, provides after-school coding and LEGO robotics.

The Massapequa Chamber of Commerce is holding the ribbon cutting on Friday at noon. As for the geographic difference, a spokesperson told Patch: "We are an open Chamber, meaning that we accept businesses that may be physically located in another town, as long as they also perform business in the Massapequa area."

In this case, some of the X-RobotX students are from Massapequa.

"X-ROBOTX recognizes the unique challenges facing our children, and pledges their help in preparing our young minds for their exciting futures," as written in the company's mission statement.
