Seaford Cinemas Drops Curtain After 25 Years Of Movies

SEAFORD, NY — Seaford Cinemas is closing its doors after 25 years. Owners posted that Monday would be the final day of business.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has come to enjoy movies at our theater over the last few years," Seaford Cinemas wrote on their website. "It has been an honor serving the community."
United Skates of America in Massapequa, saddended by the movie theater, announced it will help customers, whose birthdays have been canceled and deposits were lost for May and beyond.

"If you are in this situation and have lost your deposit for your party, please call us. We will find a time for you, and credit your party $50," they wrote on Facebook.
Seaford Cinemas was known for its daily bargain matinee prices and "Super Tuesday" where all shows were $5.
