Seaford Students are Introduced Computer Coding

Take part in "Hour of Code' campaign.

Seaford Middle school students recently took part in a national program that gives kids a head start on learning computer programming.

They participated in the "Hour of Code" campaign last week. More than 19 million students have been part of the program, which features online tutorials that teach JavaScript.

The free courses were presented by technology giants such as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Microsoft chairman Bill Gates. There was also a video introduction by President Obama.

Twelve students from the Seaford High School Computer Club ran the program for 20 Middle School Students,, according to school officials
