Seaford, Wantagh School District Budgets Pass

SEAFORD, NY — The $85 million Seaford School District budget passed on Tuesday, 770-319.

Proposition 2 – Capital Reserve Fund Expenditure for Safety Upgrades passed:
Yes 837
No 248

Proposition 3 – Capital Reserve Fund Expenditure for Infrastructure Upgrades also was approved by voters, 831-251.

In the Wantagh School District, the $94,716,136 budget passed, 1,570-641.

Proposition – Capital Reserve Fund Expenditure passed, 1,553-498

In the races for two seats for the Board of Education, incumbents Laura Reich and Jennifer Perfetti held on to their seats. Reich finished with 1,206 votes and Perfetti had 1,186.

Brian Lapp had 1,055 votes.
