'Safe And Sound:' Police Locate Missing 82-Year-Old
Police say the woman had been reported missing at 5:30 a.m. Monday morning.
WANTAGH, NY. — The 82-year-old woman who was reported missing Monday morning has been located, police said Monday afternoon.
82-year-old Clare Mundy was reported missing at 5:30 a.m. Monday, Nassau County police said, describing her as 5-foot, 1-inch, weighing 135 lbs., wearing a pink sweatsuit and teal colored jacket. Police also said that she was believed to be traveling on foot.
As of a 2:37 p.m. release from the department, however, Mundy has been found.

In a Tuesday afternoon conversation, authorities said Mundy was, "Safe and sound."
