WANTAGH, NY — Two swastikas were etched into playground equipment at Wantagh Park, police said.

Officers were called to the park on Friday afternoon and also found a racial slur scratched into the apparatus, police said.

The etched markings were approximately 6” x 6” in size.

The investigation is ongoing and detectives ask anyone with information to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
