We saw missing persons, weapons arrests and psychics in handcuffs . Â There was quite a diversity of law enforcement stories in the Wantagh-Seaford area.Â
Here's a look at the top police stories of  2013:
- An employee of a Seaford jewelry store was stabbed during a robbery in March.
- A scary story had a happy ending when an 11-year-old Wantagh girl  who had been missing was found.
- Seaford resident Jonathan Erier was arrested in January after police say he has a weapon's cache.
- Â A Wantagh psychic was accused of scamming a customer out of $4,900 to help lift a curse.
- A Wantagh man was arrested in April in a confrontation over a beer pong game, police said.
- Police Commissioner Thomas Dale lost his job in December.Â
- A Wantagh man who was charged in a DWI crash on the Southern State Parkway was convicted of manslaughter in the vehicle-related death of a Wantagh High School student 30-years earlier.
