Unsteady Pole Causes Roadway Closure In Wantagh: Police
Parts of Wantagh Avenue were blocked off on Thursday afternoon.
WANTAGH, NY — A leaning telephone pole caused the road to be blocked off in Wantagh.
Nassau police said the southbound lanes on Wantagh Avenue are closed between Flower Avenue and Homestead Avenue.
Work crews and police are on the scene as of Wednesday. It was not clear how long the road will be closed to traffic.
