WANTAGH, NY — A vehicle went into a pole on Friday afternoon causing road closures.

Wantagh Avenue was blocked off from Twin Lane South to Jerusalem Avenue, Nassau police said.

Drivers were cautioned to avoid the area while repairs were being made throughout the afternoon.
