Volunteers Needed To Find Jones Beach Coast Guard Member's Dog
Missing Angels Long Island has put out an urgent call for help from additional volunteers to help find this missing dog.

WANTAGH, NY — A member of the Jones Beach Coast Guard is missing his dog, and he needs volunteers to help find her.
The owner's dog Vegas went missing from the Jones Beach Coast Guard Station located at West End 2. She was last seen on Sunday night wearing a purple collar and tag.
Missing Angels Long Island and the Long Island Lost Dog Search & Rescue team are calling for additional volunteers to help search for Vegas in the very large area. The search includes all fields, dunes and any wooded areas located in the Jones Beach area.

Missing Angels is seeking help hanging flyers, including at all beaches, fishing areas and boating docks.The group also noted the possibility that Vegas traveled to surrounding areas or was picked up.
Michael, Vegas' owner, is from out-of-state and has only been stationed at Jones Beach for a month.
