Wantagh and Seaford HS Marching Bands to Be Featured on TV
Local musicians to be shown on MSG Varsity series airing Thanksgiving Day.
Members of the and marching bands will be featured on a television series airing on MSG Varsity Thanksgiving Day.
Musicians from both high schools will be on episodes of "The Marching
Bands." The episodes will feature performances from last month's Newsday Marching Band Festival at Hofstra University's Shuart Stadium that both Wantagh and Seaford participated in. Wantagh will be featured in an episode of the "The Marching Bands" starting at 1:30 p.m. Thanksgiving Day while Seaford will be shown starting at 3:30 p.m.
For those who cannot view "The Marching Bands" on Thanksgiving Day, the
show will repeat on Friday at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., Saturday at 6 p.m.
and Sunday at 1 p.m.
"The Marching Bands" is hosted by MSG Varsity sports announcer Keith Irizarry with former Floral Park Marching Band Director Stan
Earnhart.
