Wantagh Pizzeria Marks 10th Anniversary With Celebration For Families

The Aug. 18 event features a pizza eating contest, face painting and balloon making.

WANTAGH, NY — In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Phil's Pizzeria and Restaurant of Wantagh will hold a bash next month.

A pizza-eating contest will be part of the afternoon festivities.

Kids can enjoy face painting, cotton candy, a magic show and balloon making. Free pizza will also be handed out during the Aug. 18 event.

Families will also hear live music, as the anniversary fun runs from 12-5 p.m.
