$1 Million Lotto Ticket Sold In Inwood

INWOOD, NY — One lucky Uptown Manhattanite is sitting on a $1 million Mega Millions lottery ticket, according to the New York State lottery.

The ticket was sold at at Last Stop Convenience on Broadway and Isham Street for the Friday, March 2 Mega Millions drawing, according to the state lottery. The $1 million in prize money has so far gone unclaimed. The winner narrowly missed out on the $243 million Mega Millons jackpot by matching five of five winning numbers but missing on the Mega Ball.

Friday's winning numbers were 24, 28, 42, 60, 64 and a Mega Ball of 8, according to the state lottery. Another $1 million winning ticket was sold in Michigan.

So go ahead and check those jacket pockets, sift through the stack of papers on the dining room table and search underneath the car seat, Inwood. It would be a shame if that $1 million is never claimed.
