Elderly Washington Heights Man Goes Missing, Police Say

An 88-year-old Washington Heights resident was reported missing Sunday.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — The NYPD is asking the public to help locate and elderly Washington Heights man who was reported missing Sunday, police said.

Manuel Antonio Cordero, 88, was last seen inside his home around 6 a.m. Saturday, police said. Cordero lives in a building on Amsterdam Avenue between West 157th and 158th streets, police said.

The missing man was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a black winter hat when he was last seen, police said. He is described as standing 5-feet-tall and weighing about 165 pounds with dark eyes and gray hair.
