Man Arrested For Washington Heights Subway Shove, Police Say
A Queens man is facing charges for shoving a man onto the tracks of a Washington Heights "A" train station.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A Queens man is facing charges for shoving a man onto the tracks of a Washington Heights subway station, police said.
Christopher Vonderlieth, 46, pushed a 50-year-old man onto the tracks of the West 181 Street and Fort Washington Avenue "A" train station on Saturday, April 21, police said. Vonderlieth was arrested Thursday and charged with Assault and Reckless Endangerment, police said.
Vonderlieth and the victim had been involved in a verbal dispute before the shove, police said.

The man who was pushed onto the tracks was treated for minor injuries at Harlem Hospital, police said. The man was injured during the fall, and was not struck by a train, police said.
