Warrant Forgiveness Event To Be Held In Inwood

Get a "clean slate" on outstanding warrants for low-level offenses.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS-INWOOD, NY — Several organizations, including law enforcement, will host a "clean slate" warrant forgiveness event in Inwood on Saturday, the Manhattan District Attorney's office announced.

People with summonses for low-level offenses — such as disorderly conduct, public consumption of alcohol, unlawful possession of marijuana and public urination — can attend the event to resolve outstanding warrants without fear of arrest, according to a flyer for the event.

The "clean slate" event does not apply for felonies, penal law misdemeanors or summons for the Office Of Adminstrative Trials and Hearings and the Transit Adjudication Bureau, according to the flyer.
