7 New West Village Businesses Opening Up Shop: What To Know
Seven businesses recently signed five-to-10-year leases for storefronts on Bleecker and Christopher Streets.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — In a bit of positive news for the West Village community, seven businesses recently signed leases for nearly 8,000 square feet of storefront on Bleecker and Christopher Streets.
All of the new leases range from five-to-10 years, with the storefronts set to house a photography gallery, a coffee shop, clothing stores, and more.
Six of the new storefronts will be almost directly next to each other on Bleecker Street, while one other will be on Christopher Street.

Here are the new West Village stores:
Felix: 333 Bleecker Street

- A resort wear brand founded in 2002 will use the 500-square-foot space as a new retail location.
Do Not Feed Alligators: 337 Bleecker Street
- A photography gallery and artisanal coffee shop based on the popular book of the same name will open in the 1,650-square-foot space.
Mack Weldon: 371 Bleecker Street
- A clothing store for men that carries basics and undergarment apparel will open in a 750-square-foot space.
Goodlife: 375 Bleecker Street
- A lifestyle brand best known for its t-shirts will use the 900-square-foot space as its second retail store in New York City.
Maria Cher: 378 Bleecker Street
- A women's apparel brand based in Argentina will use the 800-square-foot space as its first store in New York City.
Brooklinen: 383 Bleecker Street
- A home goods store will use the 1,850 square foot space as its second retail location in New York City. It will be the largest store to open of the seven new West Village businesses.
Surreal Skincare: 89 Christopher Street
- A skincare brand will be using the 1,480 square-foot space as its first retail location.
RIPCO Real Estate oversaw all seven of the new West Village leases.
“Bleecker Street in the West Village is one of the city’s most charming neighborhoods," Richard Skulnik, a vice chairman at RIPCO, said in a news release. "The vacancies on Bleecker Street started pre-pandemic but even in the toughest times the team saw activity growing."
The businesses are all expected to open shortly, if they have not already.
