Duo Takes $10K Worth Of Handbags From West Village Store: Police

On Tuesday, two men with a knife walked into a Christian Louboutin store in the West Village and removed six handbags worth more than $10K.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — Police are looking for two men seen on video surveillance footage walking into a Christian Louboutin store in the West Village on Tuesday and taking six handbags worth more than $10,000.

The robbery took place around 1:14 p.m. on Tuesday at the designer store at 59 Horatio Street, police said.

The duo walked into the store together, and one man displayed a knife while threatening an employee, police said.

The men then quickly ransacked the store, removing six handbags from display shelves valued at $10,420, police said.

The pair then ran out of the store, with one of the men fleeing east on Horatio Street and the other fleeing west.

No injuries were reported.

Police released photos Thursday of the two men wanted in connection to the robbery.

There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
