WEST VILLAGE, NY — Looking to add a little sophistication to your lunch, while not dishing out too much cash? A European cafe and wine bar in the West Village will help you do exactly that with an eye-catching 25 cent martini special through the end of January.

There isn't a whole lot you can buy with a quarter anymore. A stamp, a piece of gum, a parking meter, a wash in a laundry machine, a call made from a payphone (if you can find one), and now — for 11 more days — a cocktail.

Anton's, located at 570 Hudson Street, is offering the martini special Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 3 p.m.

The cafe does not serve lunch on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Nick Anderer, the chef and owner of Anton's, posted an Instagram reminder on Wednesday to "please tip your servers and bartenders appropriately, or dare I say, generously, during this crazy special."

The incredibly affordable martinis also come in a regular-sized glass, not a smaller one that sometimes comes along with special deals.

Anton's offers more than 550 types of wine and an assortment of different cocktails.

Food-wise, the cafe serves up dishes such as a cup of chicken broth and amontillado, Long Island clams, strip steak, arugula salad, spaghetti, and more.

Anton's did not answer a phone call from Patch.

"The vision of Chef Nick Anderer and General Manager/Beverage Director Natalie Johnson, Anton's thoughtfully reimagines NYC's rich culinary history through comforting, eclectic American cuisine with deep European influences," reads an About section on Anton's website.
