New York City Weekend Events: Here's What On Oct. 21-23
A Korean festival, pumpkin carving, and a bike fundraiser are just some of the events you can take place in this weekend in NYC.

NEW YORK CITY, NY — With mostly sunny weather expected this weekend in New York City, there are plenty of fun things to do around the Big Apple.
From a Halloween parade in the Bronx, to a harvest festival in Brooklyn, there are lots of options for those looking to get out of the house this weekend.

Saturday
Bronx Halloween Parade: Southern Boulevard and Westchester Avenue, Bronx.
The Bronx Community Board 2 is hosting the 37th Annual Bronx Halloween Parade at noon on Saturday.

There will be a Mardi Gras theme, and also costume contests for different age groups. The parade will take place rain or shine.

Harvest Festival: Brooklyn Bridge Park
The Harvest Festival will take place at Pier 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
There will be a kick-off procession, arts and crafts, storytelling, lawn games, and a pumpkin patch.

Fall Festival: King Manor Museum, Queens
The King Manor Museum at 150-03 Jamaica Avenue is hosting its annual Fall Festival from noon to 5 p.m.
There will be dozens of vendors, a pumpkin patch, and a rum tasting with the historic Neir's Tavern.

Maniac Pumpkin Carvers: Coney Island, Brooklyn
The Maniac Pumpkin Carvers are returning to Luna Park in Coney Island from noon to 8 p.m.
There will be custom carvings, display pieces, education about how to carve a pumpkin, and more.

Sunday
Bike NYC MS: Pier 84 on the West Side Highway
Bike MS will kick off at 7:15 a.m. and make its way around the city.
It is the largest fundraising cycling series in the world, with nearly 75,000 cyclists participating each year.
Its mission is to change the world for everybody that is affected by MS, and raise money to combat the disease. Over its history it has raised more than $1.4 billion to fight against MS.

Fungus Festival: Randall's Island
A celebration of all things fungi at New York City's first ever Fungus Festival is taking place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Randall's Island Urban Farm.
There will be mushrooms on display, expert-led mushroom walks, an arts and cultivation workshop, kid's activities, and more.

Korean Festival: Union Square, Manhattan
The 2022 Korean Festival is taking place in Union Square Park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be food vendors, performances, K-pop activities, a chance to win a free trip to Korea, and more.
It is the 43rd year that the festival will be taking place in New York City.
