NYPD Looking For Suspect After 8 September West Village Robberies
A Verizon outlet, multiple restaurants, and a pet store are among eight West Village area businesses that have been robbed in September.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — The New York Police Department is looking for a man wanted in connection to eight recent robberies in the West Village. NYPD released details Thursday evening about the string of robberies that took place between Sept. 13 and 21.
The robberies all involved West Village area businesses losing items between $100 and $6,300, police said.
Here's a full breakdown of the incidents, according to an NYPD spokesperson:

1) On Sept. 13, a man forced open the door to the Verizon store at 462 Avenue of the Americas around 11 p.m. and proceeded to take six iPhone 12s worth $6,280 and one iPad Pro valued at $1,000.
2) On Sept. 16, a man forced open a side door at the Mexican restaurant Dos Caminos at 675 Hudson Street around 1 a.m. and stole $200 from the cash register.

3) Also, on Sept. 16, a man broke a lock to get inside the TD Podiatry at 26 West 14th Street around 1:40 a.m. Once inside, he took two Dell computers worth $2,100 in total.
4) At some point between Monday at 10 p.m. and Tuesday at 4 p.m, a man forced his way into the American restaurant High Street on Hudson at 637 Hudson Street and stole $500 from the cash register.
5) On Tuesday, a man walked through a side door into the Italian cafe Roey's around 12:30 a.m. and took an iPhone and iPad worth $45 each.
6) Also, on Tuesday, a man entered a cafe at 284 West 12th Street through a basement side door around 1:22 a.m. Once inside, he took an iMac computer worth $2,000. While police did not specify the cafe, the French restaurant Cafe Cluny is located at the same address.
7) Again on Tuesday, a man entered Kobrick Coffee at 22 9th Avenue around 2:55 a.m. through a basement door. Once inside, he took $500 from behind the counter.
8) Less than an hour later on Tuesday, a man entered the pet store Wooftown at 91 Christopher Street around 3:43 a.m. and removed $891.
Police released a picture Thursday of the man wanted in connection to the eight West Village area robberies.
