Omakase is generally known more in the United States related to sushi — but it is a Japanese word that means an experience where you leave all the choices up to a master of their craft — which in this case will be master mixologist Julia Momose.

"Introducing a totally new way to experience bourbon cocktails, leading mixologists will put a unique spin on omakase, a Japanese style of service most popular in the US for sushi dining, by crafting bespoke drinks with Legent specific to each guest’s particular taste preference and local seasonality," an event page for the pop-up reads.

Legent Bourbon is the end result of a collaboration between Jim Beam master distiller Fred Noe and House of Suntory chief blender Shinji Fukuyo. The alcohol is aged for at least four years before it is blended by Fukuyo.
