Team Behind Popular West Village Eatery Opens New Local Spot
The L'Artusi team is opening another Italian restaurant in the West Village called B'artusi. Here's what to know about it.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — The team behind one of the West Village's most popular restaurants just opened a new Italian eatery in the neighborhood.
B'artusi, the new restaurant and wine bar from the team behind L'Artusi, opened on Wednesday just down the block on the corner of 520 Hudson Street at West 10th Street.
L'Artusi has served customers in the West Village since 2008 and received an assortment of stellar reviews from the city's top critics.

The new eatery will offer a seasonal Italian menu along with an extensive selection of wines curated by L'Artusi beverage director Anncherie Saludo.
B'artusi is a 40-seat space that features both bar and table seating as well as an unspecified but "expansive" outdoor seating setup.

Joe Vigorito, the long-time executive chef at L'Artusi will oversee the kitchen of the new West Village restaurant.
Its menu includes meat and cheese plates, tuna crudo, Sicillian chopped salad, gorgonzola paninis, braised short rib lasagna, and an assortment of desserts — among many other options.
B'artusi is open for lunch and dinner from noon to midnight on Sunday through Thursday and until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. It is currently walk-in only.
