Village Halloween Parade 2022: Check Out Photos Of The Spooky Affair

WEST VILLAGE, NY — Thousands marched along Sixth Avenue Monday night to partake in the 49th annual Greenwich Village Halloween Parade in New York City. Although spirits were high, the crowd did begin to thin out as rain took over the night.

Freedom was the theme for this year's parade, inspiring a wide array of costumes ranging from pop culture icons to more political statements. The state of the economy was definitely a theme influencing costumes for many.

The Brooklyn United Marching Band and the Grand Marshall joined a variety of floats and performers to walk down Sixth Avenue.
