'Bonus' Lifeguard Coverage Announced For Ponquogue Beach In Hampton Bays

Beach staffing is set to kick off a new post-Labor Day schedule.

HAMPTON BAYS, NY —Southampton Town Parks and Recreation officials have announced an enhanced safety schedule for Ponquogue Beach for this weekend and next.

On Saturday and Sunday, September 6 and 7, lifeguard staff will supervise Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays from about 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., officials said.

The bonus coverage will continue next weekend, on Saturday, September 13 and Sunday, September 14, town officials added.
