Cops: Drivers Were Under the Influence
The following information was supplied by the Southampton Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

• Dawn Kiernan, 35, of Hampton Bays, was arrested Saturday night shortly before 9 p.m. on aggravated DWI charges. Southampton Police said they saw a car drive over a curb in the Wild by Nature parking lot and pulled over the car. Upon investigation, police said Kiernan was found to be intoxicated as well as in possession of marijuana. She was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and held overnight for arraignment.
• According to police Jeffrey Beri, 48, of New York City, was arrested early Monday morning and charged with DWAI, as well as criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. Southampton Police said they saw a car fail to keep its lane of travel on Sunrise Highway around 12:30 a.m., and that upon pulling the car over, Beri was also found to be in possession of a number of oxycodone pills. He was arrested, also given a violation citation for failing to maintain his lane of travel, and held for morning arraignment.
• Farmingville resident Jennifer Stines and Stephen Greenberg, of Hampton Bays, were arrested shortly after 5 a.m. on Monday morning after police said they were pulled over and arrested on drugs and weapons charges, and the driver was reportedly operating the vehicle under the influence. Police charged Greenberg, 40, with DWI. Police charged Stines, 27, with a felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon charge as well as seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Cops said she had heroin and a gravity knife on her. Both were held for morning arraignment.
