Final 2024 cancer survivorship event scheduled at Peconic
The healthy for the holidays event takes place Thursday in Riverhead

The Peconic Bay Medical Center Cancer Center of Excellence's survivorship program is hosting its final quarterly session for 2024, entitled "Healthy for the Holidays."
The event is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Peconic Bay Medical Center, Conference Room C.

This event will provide support, education and camaraderie to those who are navigating the cancer survivorship journey. This meeting will focus on psychological wellness. It will include strategies to cope with stress around the holidays including special guests from our pet therapy team! Come and meet our team and special four-legged friends for a night to remember.
Steven Ouzounian, MD, is the medical director of Quality at Peconic Bay Medical Center and chair of the hospital's cancer committee.
