Man Arrested At Hamptons Club After Offering Drugs To Bartender: PD
He offered the bartender meth, police say.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A man was arrested at a Hampton Bays nightclub Saturday after offering drugs to a bartender, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, the incident took place at about 1:36 a.m. at Beach Bar; a staff member requested that a Southampton Town police officer assist with a male patron that had reportedly offered the drugs, authorities said.
An ensuing investigation revealed that the patron offered a quantity of methamphetamine to the bartender, which the patron was still in possession of, police said.

Yeison Gonzalez-Ocampo, 33, of Hampton Bays, was arrested and transported to Southampton Town police headquarters for processing; Gonzalez-Ocampo was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, police said.
He was processed at Southampton Town police headquarters, then released on an appearance ticket with a future arraignment date, police said.
