Man Found Passed Out In Vehicle In Hampton Bays Had Meth: Police
He was also found with drug paraphernalia, police say.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Stony Brook man was arrested Tuesday after he was found passed out in a vehicle in Hampton Bays — with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, the incident took place at 10:03 p.m. on Shinnecock Lane. William F. Gildersleeve, 29, was found "passed out" inside a 2008 Black Dodge Ram, police said.
Officers observed drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle and further investigation found he was in possession of a quantity of meth, police said.

Gildersleeve was arrested at the scene and then transported to Southampton Town police headquarters for processing; he was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class C felony, police said.
He was held overnight for morning arraignment at Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.
