Schedule: Meet Authors in Westhampton Beach

Books and Books presents its summer author meet and greet series.

Books and Books of Westhampton Beach is sponsoring a number of author meet and greets this summer at several venues around the area.

The following is a schedule of author appearances provided by Books and Books:  

Andy Sharpless, July 11, 3 p.m., Quogue Wildlife Refuge, Quogue

Sally Koslow, July 14, 7 p.m. Books and Books, Westhampton Beach
  • Koslow is the author of The Widow Waltz, which is about Georgia Waltz, 50, who finds herself unexpectedly widowed after her husband suffers a fatal heart attack while training for the New York City Marathon.
Beatriz Williams, August 3, 4 p.m., Westhampton Free Library
  • Williams is the author of A Hundred Summers, "a tale of lost love and guarded secrets is set during the summer preceding the Great Hurricane of 1938."
Linda Fairstein, August 8, 4 p.m., Westhampton Free Library
  • Fairstein is the author of Death Angel, which "takes the reader on a heart-pulsing race to track down a serial killer before he can strike his next target."
Mac Griswold, August 11, 3 p.m. Books and Books, Westhampton Beach
Griswold is the author of The Manor, which explores the historic Sylvester Manor on Shelter Island and its relationship to slavery.
