Shirley Man Stole Tools From Westhampton Business: Police
He was arrested Wednesday, police say.
WESTHAMPTON, NY — A Shirley man was arrested after stealing tools in Westhampton, police said.
On Wednesday at about 7:58 a.m. Southampton Town police responded to a report of a larceny in progress, authorities said. When officers arrived, they initiated an investigation regarding multiple stolen tools from a business located on Oishei Road, police said.
Edward J. Gillen, 35, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, police said.

He was processed at Southampton Town police headquarters and released for a future court appearance, police said.
