Southampton Police Log: Man Charged With Knife Possession

Weapon Possession

Christopher Nahavandi, 46, of Hampton Bays, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, as well as menacing and criminal mischief – all misdemeanors – on Friday. According to police, Nahavandi intentionally tried to slash two tires and damage a window on a victim’s car that was parked on Alanson Lane in Hampton Bays. He was caught with a knife in his possession, police said.
