Westhampton Beach Fire Department Honors Heroes During 'Tunnel2Towers' Event Sunday
The Tunnel2Towers Foundation was created by the Siller family to honor the memory of their brother, a NYC firefighter who died on 9/11.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — Heroes were honored this weekend as the Westhampton Beach Fire Department participated in the 2025 Tunnel2Towers Walk/Run on Sunday.
The 5K event is a fundraiser for the Stephen Siller Tunnel2Towers Foundation, which builds adaptive homes for disabled veterans and offers financial assistance to Gold Star families, the Westhampton Beach Fire Department said.
In addition ,the organization support the families of first responders killed in the line of duty.

At the starting line, it was announced that 40,000 people participated this year.
The Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers Foundation was created by the Siller family to honor the memory of their brother Stephen, a New York City firefighter who lost his life on September 11, 2001 "after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers," the website explains.
