Westhampton Beach Police Log: Two Charged With DWI After Accidents

DWI

• On July 4 at 6 p.m. police charged Douglas Garry, 45, of Westhampton Beach, with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said Garry was charged after police arrived on the scene of a car accident on Old Riverhead Road. Police said Garry, was injured in the crash and taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center.

• Jose Aguilar-Abac, 28, of Westhampton Beach was charged on July 6 at 2:12 a.m. with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said he was pulled over on Old Riverhead Road after they spotted him driving 10 miles an hour. He was also charged and unlawful use of a vehicle, a misdemeanor. The owner of the car told police that the car was taken from Joe’s American Grill parking lot.

• On July 6 at 5:05 a.m. Dana Dadke, 23, of Centereach, was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said she was charged after she was involved in a single car accident on Sunset Avenue.

• On July 13 at 1:13 a.m. Daniel Ciaburri, 29, of New York was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, after he was pulled over on Dune Road for crossing a double yellow line.
