  1. Lisa Finn tells us that the Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce's chalk drawing contest will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Main Street in Westhampton Beach today. Chalk will be provided. (Patch)
  2. News 12 has the story on a kitten rescued from a dryer vent in Water Mill on Newlight Lane.
    Members of the Bridgehampton Fire Department
    spent over an hour carefully cutting and removing sections of the vent to get to the kitten. (News 12)
  3. Seventeen New York Air National Guard Airmen from the 106th Rescue Wing based in Westhampton participated in a Danish military search and rescue exercise in Greenland last month. They trained in cold weather operations. (DVIDS)
