Westhampton Beach Senior Performs At All-State Festival

WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — A Westhampton beach senior's talents soared at a recent musical festival.

Westhampton Beach High School student-musician Emmy Shea, a senior soprano, recently performed in the mixed chorus at the All-State Festival of the New York State School Music Association Winter Conference in Rochester, the district said.

Shea was selected for the ensemble based on her scores at the NYSSMA Solo Evaluation Festival, teacher recommendations and ranking, the district said. She is also a member of her school’s symphonic and chamber choirs.
