1 Injured After Car Overturns In Robert Moses Collision: NYS Police

The incident occurred Tuesday morning, state police say.

WEST ISLIP, NY — A man was injured after his car overturned when crashing with another vehicle on Robert Moses Causeway, New York State police said.

At about 6:10 a.m., a man was driving northbound on the causeway north of the main span when his car collided with another vehicle. His car overturned upon impact, state police said.

First responders were able to extract the man from the car. He was taken to Good Samaritan University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, state police said.

The other vehicle was unoccupied, state police said.
