Suffolk Police arrested a 54-year-old Central Islip man early Friday morning who they say repeatedly followed an Islip teenager as she walked to school this week. Following a report made by the Islip School District, police staked out the teen's school travel route early Friday morning and say they caught the man who had repeatedly tried to approach the 16-year-old on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Adolfo Diaz was arrested and is charged with harassment in the first degree. He is scheduled to be arraigned at a later date.
