Blink Fitness Opens in West Islip
Fitness Center officially opens it doors in South Bay Commons.
Blink Fitness officially opened its doors to West Islip members Friday afternoon during its Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.
The 15,000-square-foot facility in South Bay Commons offers 150 pieces of strength and cardio equipment, as well as free weights. Monthly memberships are affordable, ranging from $15 to $20.
The West Islip location is the second to open on Long Island, joining Blink Melville. A third gym in Islandia is currently being built.

The Equinox-owned chain has already begun establishing roots in the community by recently joining the West Islip Chamber of Commerce.
"The chamber is thrilled with the opening of Blink West Islip. It's an affordable way for families to work out together and stay close to home" said WICC President Diane Fontana, who attended the opening. "We're proud to welcome them into our chamber family."

According to Blink's staff, the local community has already embraced the gym. Several eager clients were ready to work out when the doors opened on Friday.
"We're so happy to be open in West Islip," said Area Manager Anthony Cicchesi. "The community has been so welcoming-it's an overwhelming experience."
Free boot camp classes are being all this week. Participants can sign up at the front desk.
The gym is cuurently open seven days a week, Mon to Thur 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., Fri 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sat to Sun 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
