Chiddy's Cheesesteaks' 'Philly Experience' Comes To West Islip
The local chain started as two cheesesteak food trucks and now has locations in Farmingdale, Commack and West Islip.
WEST ISLIP, NY — Authentic Philadelphia-style cheesesteaks are now available in West Islip, with the opening of the third Chiddy's Cheesesteaks on Long Island. The eatery opened in January in a shopping center at 510 Union Blvd.
Chiddy's Cheesesteaks started as two food trucks in 2014, and as demand grew the owners opened brick-and-mortar spots in Farmingdale, Commack and now West Islip.
The restaurant bills itself as a "fast-casual and fun dining experience that began as a way to bring an authentic Philly Cheesesteak to Long Island."

Chiddy's was voted Long Island's best cheesesteak purveyor in the 2022 Bethpage Best of Long Island contest.
The menu has a variety of cheesesteaks, homemade empanadas, gourmet hot dogs, tacos and salads.
