The season for the West Islip girls lacrosse team came to a disappointing end as the Lions fell to Northport 12-9 Monday in a Suffolk Class A playoff game. The team had a strong season and garnered the number two seed in the playoffs. During the year, West Islip enjoyed wins over Ward Melville, West Babylon and Northport, to name a few.
