Hershey's of West Islip Selling Pink Cakes For Breast Cancer Awareness
Ice cream shop will donate half of all proceeds from "Eat For The Cure" cakes to the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition.
Hershey's Ice Cream of West Islip is selling "Eat For The Cure" ice cream cakes throughout the month of October to support breast cancer awareness.
Fifty percent of the proceeds from every cake sold during the month will be donated to the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
"Please stop by for one of those cakes and know that with every bite you are helping and supporting those in need," a Hershey's representative posted on the business' Facebook page.

The cake features pink sprinkles, pink flowers and a pink ribbon on the top.
This is the second year that the store is selling the cakes. The cause is dear to owner Chris Liebe, whose grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer.
