WEST ISLIP, NY — A Long Island resident was "saved" — given a second chance to compete in NBC's The Voice after Monday night's Battle Premiere episode.

Bella DeNapoli, 22, of West Islip, sang a powerful rendition of Barbara Streisand and Donna Summer's "No More Tears (Enough is Enough)" with fellow contestant Katie Rae.

While the judges were impressed by both women's unique skillsets, Ariana Grande chose Rae as the winner for her "sultry" performance.

"I adore you both so much," Grande told the singers, tearing up. "You're both so consistently phenomenal."

Conflicted, Grande then chose her "save" option, allowing DeNapoli to continue in the competition. The Voice judges are allowed to save one contestant during the Battle Rounds — and are given one save during Knockouts.
