Meet Mr. Magoo, Shelter Pet of the Week

Mr. Magoo is a gorgeous, adult male, American Staffordshire terrier pup with a medium-length, chocolate-and-white coat of fur at the Town of Islip Animal Shelter who's just waiting to find his forever home filled with much love and care to spare.

Mr. Magoo is friendly and energetic, as well as outgoing and playful, according to shelter staff.

"He enjoys being with people and learning. He needs some work on his obedience, but he's a motivated dog who wants to please," the staff said.

He's already been neutered, and is up-to-date with routine shots.

"Mr. Magoo will make a nice addition to the family. Please come to the shelter and meet Mr. Magoo," the shelter urged.
