He was my son’s 4th grade teacher.

What does this person teach?

4th Grade.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Mr. Tummel manages to go above and beyond in all areas is teaching. He makes learning fun. My son isn’t a huge fan of school. Mr. Tummel would begin my son’s day each day by connecting with him. He would read sports update daily so he can have a quick morning conversation with my son to get him engaged. This laid the groundwork for my son’s school day. He truly took a special interest in each and every one of his students. I can only hope my daughters get the privilege of being in his class as well.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Mr. Hummel is able to engage all of his students while making learning fun. He takes an active role as a teacher.
