West Islip 2025-26 School Budget Results Are In
See whether the West Islip Union Free School District's budget passed this year.
WEST ISLIP, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the West Islip Union Free School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2025-26 school budget by a margin of 1,502 yes votes to 503 no votes.
The district's budget is $16,833,952, up 11.9 percent from last year's. The tax levy is $$96,265,976, up 3.07 percent.
There were three open seats for the West Islip Board of Education. Grace Kelly was elected with 1,175 votes, Christina Marks was elected with 1,143 and Peter McCann was elected with 1,124 votes.
